Obtained in the time they were coming out from Rex Harris, who owned the major claims for red beryls, this was placed into the company collection beryl cases by the early 1990s and has remained there ever since. It features a stunning, saturated color crystal exactly 1 cm tall and 8 mm wide across the top, perched in snow white matrix. It is unrepaired and unrestored, natural and beautiful without the help of a lab. It is a small cabinet size, and might benefit from a trim to balance it as a miniature but, then again, large specimens are uncommon. The crystal has the "life" and sparkle inside, that many of these simply lack. Most are simply translucent without being vibrant. This is top color.
