Attractive and choice, this Quartz on Manganoan Calcite combination is yet another fine specimen from Huanggang. The gemmy, well-terminated Quartz crystal is 5.7 cm long, and all the faces are lightly etched. The majority of the termination remains glassy, and it has only one very tiny ding at the tip. The soft-pink Manganoan Calcite cluster has a wheatsheaf form, which is common for Huanggang. Of course, the fluorescence is an intense pinkish red. This is an aesthetic small cab that is actually better in person because of all the subtleties within the piece. Smale Collection
