Outstanding and highly unusual combination of Chalcedony and Heulandite. Both the Chalcedony and the Heulandites are, at least, partially tinted green by an unknown inclusion. The coloring effect is incredibly striking, and it creates great and pleasing contrasts across the piece. The Heulandites also occur, clearly as a later generation, in lovely pearly 1.5 cm doubly-terminated crystals filling a pocket that resembles the mouth of an alligator. The deep green Chalcedony has a very nice silky luster to it, the included Heulandites are flat, and the gemmy Heulandites have a bright pearly luster.
