Weighing in at 272 grams, this is a huge crystal of golden beryl from Brazil, mostly gemmy through the interior, from the collection of Ed Ruggiero (with his collection card). It is an old-timer that Ruggiero acquired in 1976. The termination is complete and undamaged - with a natural etch pit filled with little stepped, chevron-shaped faces. I would describe the luster as "silky." There is natural etching on the side faces.
