Display-quality azurite from Broken Hill is shockingly hard to find, despite all the copper in the deposit. Perched aesthetically on an ocherous matrix are stacked, lustrous, navy blue crystals of azurite, to 1 cm in length Closely associated with the azurite are a few, 2 mm long, greenish yellow crystals of iodargyrite. This is a rich, colorful, and superb azurite for Broken Hill!
