Emplaced nicely on matrix is a single, highly lustrous, and silvery crystal, 2 cm in length, of the rare zinc arsenate, Leitite. Burnt-orange Ludlockite, a rare lead, iron, arsenate, can be seen on and in the Leitite. This fascinating combo specimen is made even more remarkable by the fact that Tsumeb is the TYPE LOCALITY for both species! A photo of this specimen can be seen on page 40 in 'Minerals of Namibia', by Shields and Frances Flynn. ex Clive Quiet.
