A very classic specimen of Cornish Chalcophyllite hosting several sharp, turquoise blue, bladed, trigonal crystals on matrix. The mines of Cornwall are among the most classic localities in all of Europe, and Chalcophyllite is one of the most distinctive and coveted species for collectors. Chalcophyllite is certainly uncommon around the world, and Cornwall produced the most classic and well known specimens in history. Fine specimens of this material are few and far between these days. Ex. Brian Kosnar Collection.
