Starbursts of amazingly lustrous, golden rutile needles epitaxial on mirror-bright, black hematite crystals from a recent find at Novo Horizonte, Brazil make for a striking and aesthetic specimen. The tiered nature of the starbursts really adds character to this fine piece.
