You have seen the specimens of rutile needles sticking up off shiny hematite from this locality. This is a very unusual specimen in that it is a MATRIX specimen of quartz and gemmy quartz crystals, with the "star" of rutile needles in a pocket within the quartz matrix, surrounded by the quartz crystals. You can see just a bit of the hematite at the center of the shimmering golden rutile needles. very different from the usual specimen from this find!
