Not pristine by any means, but a LARGE and hard-to-find Harts Range (Australian) epidote crystal. It is a translucent bottle-green, and looks opaque only because it is so large and thick. It is terminated roughly on one end, and about half of the other termination is intact as well. Good luster on the display face; the rough spots you see there are natural etching rather than damage. This is an old John Albanese (New Jersey) specimen.
