Considered among the most desirable Fluorites to collectors, superb pink and red Fluorite specimens from the Alps are renowned. This miniature is an unusually large single that is totally GEMMY and has a gently etched surface. The deep rose color is excellent! There is a small contact area near the base, and there is one small shiny area near the tip that may be an ultra-thin cleave. Seldom do pink Fluorites of this quality reach such size. It is complete all around save only for the natural contact that I mentioned, and it is much better in person, when you can really appreciate the soft glow related to the gemminess.
