A fat, multicolored, translucent to transparent, thumbnail elbaite crystal from Paprok consisting initially of a short watermelon zone followed by a 1 cm thick layer that transitions abruptly into a 1.5 mm pink layer and then a terminal 1.5 mm purple cap! Glassy trigonal prism faces with a matte pedion termination. A minor chip on the backside and a trace of internal crazing locally are trivial slight detractions for this polychrome splendor. Weight is 14.02 grams.
