This is a dramatically twisted, well-formed, prismatic crystal of Xenotime-(Y) from Zagi Mountain in Pakistan. Xenotime-(Y) is a relatively rare yttrium phosphate and this locality has produced some of the premier specimens in the world. This piece is quite unique in that we have never seen a Xenotime-(Y) crystal quite like this - it's a Xenotime GWINDEL! It is very well-formed, translucent with a yellow-orange tint and terminated on one end, and nearly so on the other. A truly singular Xenotime, remarkable and attractive! It is a small miniature, and has a lot of impact on a shelf.
