A magnificent, colorful specimen with sharp, translucent royal purple octohedra to 7 cm in size. These crystals form a 3-dimensional ridge running the length of the specimen, that is complete all around the sides and on the backside as well. It is a BIG specimen, the biggest fine specimen of this type I have seen from the mine to date. I have seen a limited number of smaller ones, all notable for the sharp quality of the octohedral crystals, but the mine seems to be fairly low-key and I did not see a large number of specimens, just a dozen or so, at the show (of which this was one of the 2 best and by far the biggest example). BETTER In PERSON!
