A truly classic, steeply tapered crystal! This steep habit is really the most stylized and famous for the mine. The blue-green coloration is also good. This piece went from Fred Pough's collection to Tim Sherburn in 1985, and thence traded to another San Diego area tourmaline collector and on to me. For a thumbnail, you would be hard-pressed to find a more symmetric and equant example in this size range
