Kinoite is an ultra-rare copper silicate. The bright royal blue micro crystals to 2 mm are richly and aesthetically scattered in a vug on matrix lined with sparkly, colorless to light green apophyllite crystals. A very showy piece collected or donated to Harvard University by well-known pegmatite specialist and University of Oklahoma geology professor, David London, for whom londonite is named, and then acquired by George Feist.
