Fluorite and Celestine
From finds in 2007-2008, this is a really choice small cabinet piece featuring an outstanding, gemmy, root beer Fluorite associated with fine blades of Celestine. The Fluorite has superb luster, and the gemminess is accented by the definitive zoning within the crystal. The Fluorite is 2.7 cm on edge, which equals the length of some of the fine Celestine crystals. The piece is complete all around, with only one ding on the front edge of the Fluorite. This is actually in remarkably good condition for the size and style. As a bonus... The Fluorite is HIGHLY fluorescent, a ghostly blue-white color under UV light.
