A member of the Olivine group, this mineral is not a very common occurrence at Wessels. The brown crystals here have variations in habit and luster, and are considered by many to be best of species from this locality. The crystals range up to .4 cm in length, and may reach several mm across for the more prismatic form. An important, and excellent, specimen of a very rare crystallized species. Ex. Charlie Key.
