A single sharp, perfect crystal of a classic complex habit for cuprite, that was found in this locality in the 1800s and is now considered classics. The surface shows a partial alteration into Malachite. This is a relatively large thumbnail, floater crystal of very high quality from the noted collection of Giancarlo Fioravanti. Joe Budd photos.
