First-rate, classic Mordenite specimen from the famous traprock quarries in India. The two dozen Mordenite balls of sharp acicular (needle-like) crystals are nicely distributed across the Amethyst pocket, giving the specimen fine balance to go along with the beautiful contrast in color. The Mordenites are well-defined, with terminations of the fine needles creating amazing, sea urchin-like balls, the largest of which is 1.5 cm across. A terrific, aesthetic cabinet specimen.
