This fine, major, American realgar on matrix, exhibits parallel growth, bright red color, translucence, and good luster. The prismatic crystals reach 5.0 cm in length. The back side is equally as good save for a damaged termination on one of the lesser crystals, the smallest, which is actually repaired back on (and could be removed, if you care to do so). Old US classic, back here now from a European collection, or "there and back again."
