A visually impressive plate of sparkly balls of drusy and gemmy Rhodochrosite in combination with two rare Shigaite crystals. The largest of the Rhodochrosite balls is 1.7 cm across. Of greatest interest is the Rhodochrosite/Shigaite combination. The Shigaite crystals are a little over 1 mm across and have a very sharp hexagonal habit. Overall, this is really quite a stunning piece for its aesthetics, color, and association. Ex. Charlie Key.
