A pristine, complete all-around, very sharp and lustrous, blocky, black columbite crystal from Hewitt Mine, Haddam, Connecticut. Columbite is RARE from this locality, which is nicely accented by a bit of quartz hidden in the notch. This is CLASSIC, OLD-TIME Haddam material. Ex. Jarnot Collection, Connecticut specialists.
