A superb, large, doubly terminated, rich forest-green apatite crystal from the Bear Lake Diggings at Tory Hill, Ontario. The sharp crystal beautifully translucent. The crystal has textbook crystal form and is nicely accented by the sidecar crystal. We must expect that, as with most of these, the super luster has been enhanced by Krylon, sprayed on the crystal as a preservative. This is normal practice for apatite crystals from this locale. Ex. George Elling Collection.
