A superb and rare vivid pink tourmaline from the early 1960s find at the Golconda pegmatite. The gemmy and lustrous crystal is complete-all-around and is pristine. It features textbook hexagonal crystal form. The termination area is particularly gemmy and the pinacoidal termination itself is lustrous and lightly etched/frosted. The internal crazing adds character to the crystal. Weighs 25 grams. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection #8.
