Quite simply one of the finest miniature-sized pure red tourmaline clusters in this size range, with the best saturated pink-red color for Himalaya, superb top luster, shiny terminations, and balance. It is stunning. It glows with color, whereas some others are pale pinks or murky, and the luster is top percentile. Collected by mine owner Bill Larson and in his personal collection for decades, this is as good as it get in miniature size for this classic style of USA tourmaline. No significant damage, just some tiny tiny micro-chips around a few edges, we have chosen not to bother to restore/fill. 57 grams. Collected by, and from the important and long held personal San Diego County Collection of William "Bill" Larson, longtime owner of the Himalaya Mine, discoverer of the famous Queen Mine BlueCap pocket and numerous other San Diego mining projects over the last 50 years and more.
