Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. The deep pink octahedrons on this LARGE plate measure up to 2.5 cm. 17 x 14 x 2.7 cm
