Japanese rhodos are just vanishingly rare on the market - there were never that many, and now, it is a real surprise when you see one on the market, released from some collection or another. Odds are this is at least 50 years old, if not 150. This one has WONDERFUL color - not just salmon, but really towards pink; it has the usual botryoidal form. These Japanese rhodos are very significant as both species and locality specimens, and are classics in their own way (one of the few fine mineral species Japan is well-known for - stibnites being the other best-known from here) .
