This is a fine crystal from a lesser-known epidote locality in Baja California, south of the resort town of Ensenada. It is a chunky crystal with multiple terminations, and is actually slightly translucent - you can see flashes of green where light penetrates the lustrous faces. It has some angular natural contacts where it grew against other crystals. From the well-known California collection of Charles Hansen. Incredible locality piece!
