From the collection of John Sinkankas, with his collection card accompanying: a fine spray of the famous Guerrero amethyst, loved by collectors for its beautiful zoning, with isolated blushes of purple within the otherwise colorless crystals. These gently tapered crystals measure to 5.5 cm in length, and have a beautiful silky luster. One of them has a naturally-contacted termination. They spray outwards attractively from a sparing matrix. The Sinkankas card shows him to have acquired the specimen in 1962.
