An old-time, very fine combination specimen from the historic mines at Leadhills, Scotland. Sparkly, candy-apple green pyromorphite microcrystals in botryoids richly cover the vuggy, quartz-rich matrix. Seams of tiny cerussite crystals and crusts of contrasting, powder-blue caledonite round out this very rich lead ore piece. Leadhills is the Type Locality for caledonite. Classic combination material from the Robert Whitmore Collection.
