A remarkable, old-time, cabinet rhodochrosite specimen from the Emma Mine at Butte. The exceptionally well-placed, 2.5 cm rhomb is the highlight of the sharp, lustrous, rose-pink crystals on the front. This piece is solid rhodochrosite. It is a large, classic and excellent Butte rhodochrosite from the 1940s-1960s era here.
