Lustrous, translucent, olive-green andradite garnet crystals to 1.0 cm cover the sculptural, vuggy, mounded matrix on this fine specimen from Stanley Butte, Arizona. The lightly frosted crystals really sparkle and have textbook dodecahedral form. Classic, older material from this noted locale from the Robert Fender Collection. This piece dates to the 1960s or 1970s.
