Classic material from the quartz-sericite-kyanite deposit in Lincoln Co., Georgia. This complex crystal has mirror sharp faces and, in some areas, the light penetrates and reflects back red. Like much material without matrix from this deposit, the piece has minor wear (on a few edges); but is complete on the display face.
