A gemmy and lustrous, pastel-pink tourmaline crystal with the pocket clay still attached to the back from the less well-known Anita Mine of Riverside County, California. The Anita Mine is an old locality, producing few toumalines of this quality. In fact, this is one of just 4 such I have seen in almost a decade of living in San Diego. It comes from well-known collector Al Ordway. The termination is very gemmy and has a slight hint of yellow-green. The backlit photo highlights the beautiful pink color. 3.7 x 2.8 x 2.7 cm
