An old-time, two-sided specimen from the Detroit Mine at Morenci, Arizona. Royal-blue, primary azurite botryoids richly and attractively cover the "A" side. The backside of the plate is totally covered with a crust of multi-hued, green botryoidal malachite. The Detroit Mine closed in 1932. Ex. Earl Calvert (Los Angeles, early 1900s) and David Stoudt Collections.
