This species was first described from here and was named after an old spelling of the island of Elba. While not as lustrous and not a matrix piece like its Russian counterparts, this equant, black, crystal of ilvaite, is doubly terminated and rarer than the Russian examples. 2.5 x 2.1 x 1.5 cm
