This is a WHOPPER plate of FINE, sharp magnetite crystals to 1.8 cm tip-to-tip. Compared to many of these plates, there is very little damage here (some of the crystals towards the bottom are oxidized and a few are missing, but the upper 2/3 of the specimen is the highlight anyway). Also, the crystals are well isolated on the matrix instead of just piled up on top of one another, so they are really shown off at their best. Just a really big and impressive magnetite specimen! 21.1 x 8.5 x 4.0 cm
