Plancheite is a rare secondary copper mineral found in copper deposits and this is an excellent and very rich specimen from the Shangulowe Mine. Powder-blue crusts, botryoids and hollow botryoids comprise this sculptural piece with just a bit of gossan matrix as a nice accent. For the locale, this is a very highly representative specimen featuring this rare copper silicate.
