A gorgeous specimen that is completely translucent, consisting of fluorite on a thin plate of fluorite, ALL GEM. Two well formed fluorite octohedrons, to 2.8 cm on an edge, clearly are lustrous and translucent/transparent, with a rich emerald green color. The two crystals are aesthetically perched on a thin layer of smaller fluorites so that light transmits through the whole specimen. The crystals fluoresce a rich purple color and the piece looks extraordinary when backlit in a case, even just by normal lighting. This piece has some of the gemmiest and cleanest crystals from this old find we had seen, and we're just now offering them up after they were put away for a few years for processing and cleaning.
