Fluorite on Sphalerite

One very clear, very large, gemmy crystal of fluorite, 6.0 cm across, is emplaced on a matrix of massive, splendent, black sphalerite. The upper portion of the fluorite has a very light, pastel purple color while the core is a rich green color. The fluorite crystals appear to be cubes modified by octahedral faces. Superb piece with a most impressive large crystal
