Very glassy and lustrous beta quartz crystals to 2.6 cm are aesthetically scattered on mounded matrix covered with sparkly, black hematite blades on this CLASSIC, OLD-TIME and showy specimen from the famous Florence Mine of Egremont, England. The matrix is fascinating in itself, being a skeletal-looking, hematite kindey ore. Ex. George Elling Collection.
