A beautiful, 3-dimensional specimen featuring botryoidal quartz balls to 2 cm, perched in calcite on manganese gangue matrix. It is complete 360-degrees all around as shown. The crystal balls are translucent, sparkling and lustrous, and a pleasing light pastel shade of lavender color, presumably due to manganese. More sparkly, in person! The isolation shown by the crystal clusters on this piece seems to be unusual for the pocket, and I consider quite attractive.
