Reticulated Cerussite crystals from Tsumeb are always high on most collector's lists. The gemminess and adamantine luster are excellent, and the reticulated twinning results in a snowflake-like form which is why these are often referred to as "snowflake Cerussites." The aesthetics and quality of this piece are superb and it has the perfect form, symmetry and all of the other qualities you would wish for in a stand-out Cerussite thumbnail. This was probably collected in the 1960s or early 1970s. This large thumbnail has gorgeous, sculptural structure to it and is complete on both sides.
