A very interesting and to my knowledge unique specimen featuring a fanspray of elongated pink crystals INSIDE a quartz point. The crystals inside have been shown to be Montmorillonite but the form is wrong because the mineral usually is amorphous from the locality, indicating they are a replacement after another, as yet-unidentified mineral species. From Tim Sherburn, who got it from dealer Mark Rodgers in 1984. Note that the front has been polished to enhance display of the inclusion (and the piece is a quartz shard, anyhow)
