4.3 x 3.8 x 2.3 cm (Specimen); 2.00 carats; 8.07 mm x 6.43 mm (Gem) - A "Modified Brilliant Cut Corner Rectangle" cut gem of golden Siderite from Bolivia (probably from near Colavi) is paried up with a specimen featuring modified hexagonal crystals of golden Siderite associated with lustrous blue-green Apatite from Linopolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The gemstone has one notable inclusion on the side, but it's really gemmy with good color when stongly lit. Siderite is not what a lot of people think about when it comes to rough and cut sets, and this would be a great one to add to a rough and cut suite.
