A cluster of fine, intergrown, color zoned fluorite crystals, to 3.4 cm across, are lustrous and translucent, to gemmy, with light yellow cores and light purple bands at the terminations. The smaller crystals are gemmy while the larger crystals exhibit some dissolution in their centers. This is a gorgeous, subtle and mesmerizing small cabinet piece, hard to convey in photos!
