This large leucite crystal is the size of a golf ball, and is complete all around. It looks like a garnet, at first glance. But, it is instead the largest leucite I have seen from the USA. I am told that these were found in Magnet Cove, but only rarely and prior to the 1950s. It is a very important, but seldom seen, American specimen Ex. Ted Johnson collection.
