The Rubies from Jagdalak are among some of the most well known and superbly crystallized Ruby specimens around. This specimen features a remarkably sharp, very well formed, semi-lustrous, purplish-pink color crystal group on a marble matrix. The crystal group measures 1.8 cm long. The crystals are not at all opaque as the majority of these specimens tend to be. The crystals also have good form with distinct basal pinacoids.
