BRILLIANTLY gemmy, deep cherry-red andradite garnet crystals are aesthetically set on quartz-rich matrix on this EXCELLENT Pakistan specimen. The large andradite is 2.4 cm, which is BIG for the locality and species. The large andradite is so gemmy, that it has a fire opal-like quality to it; seeing the matrix beneath it. The row of smaller andradites just below the big one is particularly attractive. very FEW andradites of this quality have come from this UNCOMMON Pakistan locality. This super piece is accompanied by two older dealer labels, one of which is from Herb Obodda, source of many fine Pakistan minerals.
